Prototyping Digital Futures - Prototypes

During our reading week, our goal was to begin creating to scale prototypes. This meant that we had to actually build a table but rather than build an actual table we prototyped the size of the screen using cardboard. Once we did this, we then painted the cardboard black to simulate how the screen would look if a finished project. We chose black since it provided a nice background for putting the bright and vibrant hand prints on.

Once we had created the screen we created the border and raised it slightly to allow up to slide the hands in and out as well as slide the boards with the interactions on them on to the table.

Finally we also prototyped an iPhone to house the phone interfaces and to prototype the interaction between the table and the phone. Below is pictures showing the various parts that our group prototyped.
